Absolutely loved the squeaky bed frames, really added charm to my stay. it’s quite the adventure when you need to use the toilet in the rain. A covered path would’ve been nice. I expected at least a complimentary upgrade for all these inconveniences, but who was I kidding? Special treatment seems to be a myth here.

Arrowtown family fun! 🏞️
The kids had a blast making friends and playing on the field, while we chilled on the verandah. Our room was super clean and felt homey. Defs a throwback to a lekker family holiday vibe, very refreshing!
No free WiFi, which made it a bit tricky for teens, but ag man, the kids loved the old school fun!

The shower block was clean and tidy, and the large sites for campervans provided a sense of space that made parking a breeze. Plus, it was just a short stroll into town, which added to the convenience of the stay.
Beware of the $1 charge for showers and the lack of included wifi in your stay. that can add up quickly. There were reports of noisy fire sirens disturbing the night, which could unsettle families and kids. Lastly, it seems the atmosphere can get a bit crowded due to workers living on-site, which might detract from the overall family vacation vibe.

Family friendly, with some quirks.
Had a great time with the family, we shared a nice little space with a kitchenette,, and my kids loved the cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming, made us feel right at home and didn’t mind our silly questions!
It wasn’t exactly cheap,, but I guess it could be worse.

this place was perfect for us! the cabin was warm and cozy even with freezing temps outside. we loved the kitchenette, super handy. checking in was easy with a lovely hostess, and the park and ride was a nice bonus on the way to the airport. the night sky was amazin, really beautiful!
the kitchen/dining area got super tight during peak times, would be nice if it was bigger. also, a couple extra hooks in the shower area would help keep clothes dry on the wet floor.

Cozy winter retreat!
We needed a warm spot before an early flight, and this place was perfect! Our crew fit comfortably in the cabin, and the kitchenette was super handy. The heater kept us toasty even with it being freezing outside. Just wish the kitchen/dining area was a bit bigger during peak times—it got tight! Will def consider again.

It was a suitable option for a city break in Arrowtown with good value. Maurice, the acting manager, was incredibly helpful when we had an issue with our power plug and went out of his way to assist us. Bring warm clothing as the nights can get chilly despite heat settings.
